Born February 27, 1978 in Anderson, South Carolina, Vincent Allen Dawson has aspired to make a name for himself in all that he does. Being a self-taught musician, he has also managed to self-produce four original albums, averaging one album per year. Dawson has also been a sought after guitar instructor and sound engineer within the Abilene area. His earliest influences range from the soulful sounds of Marvin Gaye and Al Green to the likes of Hank Williams and Mel Torme. Ever independent, Vincent has invested most of the past six years towards establishing a solo career in music.
