Greg Young is a songwriter, a singer and a musician who has performed in and around Abilene for over 15 years. He has written songs recorded by the likes of Aaron Watson, Zach Harmon, Tony Barker, Jamison-Priest and Catclaw Creek.

He has performed locally at events such as West the Texas Book and Music Festival, Buffalo Gap Wine and Food Summit sponsored by Perini Ranch, Taste of Texas sponsored by the Center for Contemporary Arts, Sunset Safari Concert Series sponsored by the Abilene Zoo, H.E.B. Feast of Sharing, Erinshire Folk Festival and Art Walk.

Greg enjoys sharing his original songs as well as country standards, jazz selections, gospel favorites and covers from many of his favorite artists and influences including notable Texas performing songwriters such as Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett. He knows hundreds of songs and carefully selects songs with the audience in mind.
